An inspiring exploration of the changing face of an industrial Chinese city. As a factory faces closure to make way for luxury flats, the workers tell their stories about the factory which manufactured military aircraft as well as tales about their lives. Three generations reveal their experiences, capturing a recent history of China.

"Enthralling, beguiling and haunting."
Little White Lies

"A deeply serious and sombre film, trying to find a way of telling the stories of people affected by the gigantic political and economic changes sweeping that country whose concerns must in the end affect us all: 21st-century China."
The Guardian
