Addicted to Fresno 15
‘Why did you come back to Fresno if you hate it so much?'
'Obviously because I made a series of poor life decisions!’
Recovering addict Shannon leaves rehab to join her sister at work in a hotel in blue collar California. Things quickly spiral out of control when a racy encounter goes spectacularly awry. With clashes between unrequited lesbian crushes and co-dependent sisters, Fresno is absurd, dark and wildly funny. Starring Babbitt regular Natasha Lyonne (But I’m A Cheerleader, Orange is the New Black,) Audrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation, Safety Not Guaranteed,) Judy Greer (Arrested Development, Archer) and Fred Armison (Portlandia.) Witty, zesty and sharp.
CHICK HABIT
Queer icon Jamie Babbitt has a pop sensibility of technicolour and polyester, drawing inspiration from John Waters, Edward Scissorhands and Barbie! Her breakout film But I’m A Cheerleader (1999) is one of film’s most seminal lesbian comedies. Jump on the party train with our very own But I’m A Cheerleader style indie pop-punk Disco – Chick Habit! We are delighted to present djs from Chicks with Decks and INVERT.
