Beauty and the Beast PG
A tale as old as time, retold in glittering live action! Fancy a fairy-tale extravaganza with talking candlesticks and scene-stealing teapots? Be our guest! Transformed into a monstrous beast after selfishly spurning an enchantress in disguise, a privileged Prince conceals himself in a castle with his similarly bewitched servants. Ashamed and under the spell, with only a magic mirror as a window on the rest of the world, they must wait for a princess’ love to set them free. But what’s that? A twist? A single rose (which is also enchanted) will bloom on the Beast’s twenty-first birthday; if he can learn to love and be loved in return before the rose wilts, the spell will be broken. Can our heroine Belle break the spell and free the castle? They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but could anyone ever love the beast?
