Clash 15
A harrowing and eye-opening drama set entirely in a police riot van during one heated day of protests after the Egyptian revolution. Clash is an astonishingly human portrait of a diverse group of detainees from warring religious, social and political backgrounds brought together by a shared fate, and forced to share a contained space.
Framed in frightening realism, Clash is a remarkable and chaotic film that refuses to pick a side, but provides thoughtful and timely social commentary with an almost documentary like feel.
