At the Showroom there are opportunities for teachers, lecturers and students within formal education to enhance their knowledge and understanding of film.

As an independent cinema the Showroom provides an alternative environment to enhance learning through film, which can powerfully contextualizes the world around us. In addition to screenings of new films we also host special screenings of films which are relevant to a wide range of curriculum subjects, including English, History, Film and Media, MFL and PHSE.

Morning screenings can be arranged on request which accommodate groups of 80 to 280 students.

We can also offer training for trainee teachers and any community groups or carers who work with children.
