The Showroom welcomes Mark Herbert, the producer of Four Lions to the cinema, together with cast members for a Q&A following this special screening.
Chris Morris turns his satirical attention to the war on terror, following a group radicalised young men from Northern England as they undertake training to carry out terrorist attacks. The inept wannabe terrorists plan an attack on the London Marathon, but their mission becomes increasingly farcical and absurd.
An outrageous debut feature from Morris which is bound to be controversial and divide audiences. This is razor-sharp British satire at its best.
Made by Sheffield's Warp Films, much of Four Lions was filmed in and around Sheffield.
"Chris Morris is still the most incendiary figure working in the British entertainment industry."
The Guardian
"Further proof that the Brits nail "topical" comedy earlier and better than anyone. A true original -- and FUNNY."
Cinematical
"Guaranteed to offend a lot of folks across the political and belief spectrum, but consistently funny and horribly to the point."
