Hadewijch 12A
Hadewijch is a young novice nun who is expelled by the mother superior because of her overzealous faith. When she returns to live with her parents in Paris, Hadewijch once again becomes Céline, the daughter of a French minister. Céline’s passionate love of God, her rage, her unease with her parents, and an encounter with the volatile Yassine and his brother Nassir, a devout Muslim, lead her further along a dangerous path.
