Hamlet Goes Business PG

In Aki Kaurismäki's darkly comic adaptation, Shakespeare's play is updated to the boardroom of a twentieth-century, family-run business empire. The result is brilliantly satirical and incongruous, as Timo Salminen’s crisp, noir visuals capture the sociopathic ruthlessness with which characters murder their way to a stake in the Swedish rubber-duck industry.
