A portrait of  Brian Wilson, songwriter and lead singer of The Beach Boys, portrayed by Paul Dano  in his younger years and John Cusack twenty years later. With a familiar soundtrack, the film focuses on Wilson’s career, his mental health problems and his relationship with his second wife Melinda (Elizabeth Banks).
