Off The Shelf: Cold Earth

The creator of the Vera and Shetland series ofdetective fiction Ann Cleeves unveils her latest book – Cold Earth – featuring the much loved DI Jimmy Perez in a murder mystery set in the depths of a Shetland winter. Ann will be joined by forensic pathologist Dr James Grieve offering real-life examples of the science underpinning modern crime fiction. BothVera and Shetland have been adapted for TV, with a fourth series of Shetland due to air on the BBC early in 2017.
