Distinguished film producer Tony Garnett talks about his memoir The Day the Music Died, which looks at his life and the influences and ideas that have shaped his career in film and television production. His work, always radical and confrontational, engaging with controversial social and political topics, includes Cathy ComeHome, Kes and TV series This Life amongst many others. The talk will be followed by a screening of Up the Junction.
