This is a biographical film about underage 1970s all girl rock group of the same name founded by Joan Jett. A scandalous story of the first rock chicks based on lead singer Cherie Currie’s book ‘Neon Angel’ is a reflection of her experience as a rock star. Heavily manipulated by their manager as ‘jailbait rock’ the film charts their arena-filling rise to fame and the predictable descent.
This film was last shown at Showroom on 23 Sep 2010
