In Absence of the Smoky God - at Site Gallery

Note this event takes place at Site Gallery, next door to The Workstation on Brown St.

In association with Sensoria Festival of Film and Music we are very pleased to announce this Artists Moving Image installation as part of BFI Sci Fi Season taking place at Site Gallery. Artist Matt Stokes was inspired by Threads which also screens in the season (date tbc).

 ‘In Absence of the Smoky God' is a newly commissioned dual-screen film  presented at Site Gallery in Sheffield from 27 September to 8 November. Entering production in Sheffield this summer ‘In Absence of the Smoky God’ will act as an epilogue to ‘Threads’,  focusing on what happened next to two groups of people, one above ground and one below.
