Under the Shadow 15
A horror unlike any other. Tehran, 1988. Bombs rain down on the city. Shideh, an aspiring doctor whose political activism prevents her from continuing her studies, is left alone with her six-year old daughter when her husband is called to war. When the child’s doll goes missing, an unspeakable terror begins to haunt the tower block in which they live. This is a powerfully political film as well as being genuinely terrifying – prepare to jump.
