Akunin
Yuichi is a young, lonely man who works as a civil employee and takes care of his grandparents. He gets involved with a woman on a dating site and randomly murders her. He lives his life in fear until a woman he once knew contacts him, seeking companionship. Yuichi is a wanted criminal, his face is on the news, but surprisingly his new love is not discouraged and persuades him to run away with her.
Winner of five Japanese Academy Awards.
