The Sheffield WaterAid group is always looking for new ways to raise awareness of the charity’s life-saving work in addition to raising funds. The idea for WaterPrint emerged early in 2012 when the economic climate seemed to suggest that a creative approach to charitable giving was needed and this could be combined with offering local artists more exposure. We became aware that many amateur artists attending print workshops had not exhibited their work and that there were also semi-professional and professional artists who would welcome an opportunity to exhibit alongside each other.
