A young Kurdish boy has travelled through the Middle East and Europe to join his girlfriend, freshly immigrated to England. But his journey comes to an abrupt end when he is stopped in Calais. Having decided to swim across he meets a swimming instructor who decides to risk everything to give him shelter and help him reach his destination.
