The wait is almost over to discover whether Sheffield will be named the UK City of Culture 2013. The Department of Culture, Media and Sport will reveal which city has won the title on Thursday 15 July.
The Showroom Workstation is hosting an event organised by Creative Sheffield celebrating Sheffield's musical excellence the evening before the announcement, which will prove to be a nail-biting occassion as the city awaits the news. Sheffield Music City Presents will showcase three films about the musical legacy of the city. This event is free, please join us if you can./sheffieldmusiccity
