David Morrissey at the showroom in june

On 14 June, actor and director David Morrissey spent the day in Sheffield at the Showroom Cinema. During the afternoon he spent time with a group of local school children answering their questions after they watched Waterhorse, a film David starred in.

David then went live on air on Radio Sheffield for an interview with Paulette Edwards, followed by a packed schedule of interviews with Exposed Magazine (p92 July issue), the Yorkshire Post and the Sheffield Telegraph.

In the evening a screening of David's directorial debut Don't Worry About Me was followed by a Q&A led by local filmmaker Colin Pons.

Screen Yorkshire were on hand to capture the evening on camera. They recorded an interview with David offering some top tips for filmmakers for their Film Toolkit.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the event, and to all involved for making it a great day.
