Sheffield is being taken over by zombies for one day only and the whole thing will be caught on camera – and you could be right there in the middle of it!
Ahead of Celluloid Screams 2010, Sheffield’s Horror Film Festival taking place 22-24 October, the Showroom Cinema and Festival Director Rob Nevitt are on the hunt for a posse of undead Sheffielders. A mini zombie army is needed to take part in a specially commissioned trailer for the festival to be shown on the big screen at the Showroom Cinema. If you love Shaun of the Dead and have perfected your zombie shuffle, Celluloid Screams needs you!
If you think you’ve got what it takes to be an awesome zombie you’ll need to be available for filming from 10am-6pm on Sunday 01 August. If you’re recruited for the zombie army you’ll need to get dolled up in your best shabby clothes and zombie makeup and head down to Sheffield city centre to strut your living-dead stuff.
If you would like to get involved in what promises to be a fun and bizarre way to spend a Sunday, send an email to marketing@showroomworkstation.org.uk to find out more. Please include the following information - your name, age, phone number and a few lines about why you would make a brilliant zombie. Or, if you have a knack for zombie makeovers and would like to contribute your makeup skills on the day, please also get in touch on the email address above.
Celluloid Screams festival passes are now on sale for £50. Contact the Showroom Box Office, 0114 275 7727 to get hold of one.
