Set in 1920s Korea - when the country was under Japanese occupation - The Age of Shadows is a slick espionage thriller about a Korean captain, Lee Jung-chool (Song Kang-ho: incredible as ever) working for the Japanese police who is tasked with the job of infiltrating a group of resistance fighters.
