All in a Day: The City (50th Anniversary Screening) + intro CTBA
All in a Day: The City aired 50 years ago in 1974 and captured a day in the life of the city of Sheffield, Wednesday 5th September 1973.
The film captures events in the city without commentary; Steelworkers retire, babies are born, there are fashion shows and council meetings, crashed lorries and policemen on the beat.
The film will be introduced by local resident Jim Steinke who has lived in Sheffield for over 50 years, and moved to the city the week that this film was made.
This screening will be a special low-cost film screening with tickets at just £3.
