Ankhon Dekhi + Q&A
Ankhon Dekhi tells the story of Rajesh Bauji (Sanjay Mishra), a man in his late 50s who lives with his family in Delhi. After an incident involving his daughter, Rajesh decides to only believe the things he can see with his own eyes. This apparently simple decision leads Rajesh on a deep journey of self-discovery in pursuit of absolute truth, as the rest of his family watch on, unsure of how to deal with the situation. Ankhon Dekhi is a funny and tender film, fuelled by a cast of warm and memorable performances.
**We will be joined by actor, writer and director Rajat Kapoor for a post-screening Q&A.**
The session will be led by Vidya Sagar Pancholi, an Architect-Planner currently pursuing PhD in Urban Studies at the University of Sheffield. Within his PhD, he is researching social housing schemes in Mumbai. He believes that its not only the social context that shapes various government policies and their implementation, the government policies also affect the local social life.
