Beetlejuice 12A
Tim Burton’s outrageous Beetlejuice tells the story of the Maitlands, a recently deceased couple who are stuck haunting their house, unable to leave. When a horrible new family buy the home, the Maitlands efforts to scare them away attracts ‘Beetlejuice’, a wicked spirit who isn’t just here to help.
An 80s classic for many, Beetlejuice is a black comedy- horror film which touches upon some darker themes throughout its zany, macabre plot. It is a fantastically creative film from Burton, with award-winning visual effects and make up design, and a brilliant performance from Michael Keaton. Made in 1988, Beetlejuice is Tim Burton’s second feature, and it is full of the wonderful ghoulish fun that his work is known for.
