The Coen Brother’s burst onto the scene in 1984 with a fantastical debut feature that gave us a taste of their trademark quick-witted black comedy. 33 years later they are one of the worlds most talked about directorial duos, with hundreds of award nominations for titles like Fargo, No Country For Old Men and The Big Lebowski.

For the first time since it’s 1984 release, Blood Simple has been remastered into awe-inspiring 4K, for the unique opportunity to catch it on the big screen.

Marty is convinced his wife Abby (Frances McDormand in her breakout role) is cheating on him. Bitterly jealous, he hires Visser – an unscrupulous private eye – to murder Abby and her supposed lover. But things are never simple when murder is involved – unpredictable happenings and surprise double crossings lead to some classic Coen’s mayhem.
