CBeebies Christmas Show 2019: Hansel & Gretel U

This year's highly anticipated CBeebies Christmas Show is once again coming to the big screen from the theatre stage for a family-friendly feast of Christmas fun! The show includes interactive content with Justin Fletcher, exclusively created for cinemas alongside the sold out Hansel & Gretel stage performance recorded at Edinburgh Festival theatre.

The show is an adaptation of fairy-tale classic Hansel and Gretel, featuring many of CBeebies' most popular talent, including, for the first time - Waffle the Wonder Dog! This year, cinema-goers are set to be taken on a winter adventure through an enchanted forest as the story of Hansel and Gretel unfolds. They must overcome the perils of the deep, dark wood in which they are lost, but with the help of the forest's magical creatures and by not giving up, the pair prove to their family that the only thing that matters at Christmas is being together.

Please note: The screening on Sunday 1st December will be a relaxed, autism-friendly showing. The cinema environment is altered to provide a low sensory experience - the sound will be reduced and the house lights will be on low. Everybody is free to make noise, move around and bring their own snacks.
