On the day of his first fight since leaving prison, former middleweight champion and weathered boxer, "Irish Mike" Flannigan, prepares for his highly anticipated return to the ring, a huge long-shot undercard at the legendary Madison Square Garden.

But before he can face off against a new champion, he first needs to face the demons from his past, embarking on a redemptive emotional journey of second chances, self-sacrifice and forgiveness.

Drawing comparisons to Scorsese’s work in its themes and stunning black-and-white cinematography, this evocative character study is the remarkable debut feature of actor Jack Huston (grandson of legendary filmmaker John Huston) starring Huston’s Boardwalk Empire co-stars Michael Pitt, Steve Buscemi, alongside Raging Bull’s Joe Pesci.
