Doc/Fest 2019: Baracoa
UK Premiere
Evocative, closely observed blend of doc and fiction follows two Cuban boys, timid Lionel and volatile Antuan, as they roam through their dying industrial town in the final, lazy days of summer. When Antuan moves to Havana, the doc becomes a bittersweet reflection of Cuba's changing fortunes, seven decades after Castro's revolution.
