Like millions of young girls around the world, Kenyan filmmaker Beryl Magoko was only ten-years-old when she underwent the painful and dangerous practice of female genital mutilation. Two decades later, the director interviews women who have experienced FGM trauma then begins an emotional journey to undergo surgery to restore her genitals.
