Cronenberg introduces his concept of ‘the new flesh’ in a mind-bending, hallucinatory tale of snuff TV, sadomasochism, tumours, and conspiracy. James Woods and Debbie Harry star in one of the director’s most daring, original, and compelling films.

Our Film Studies programme is open to everyone. An eight week course with film screenings and discussion sessions on alternate weeks, lead by Film Lecturers from Sheffield Hallam University.
