Film Studies: The First Purge 15
America is in the grips of social mayhem and devastation (no surprise there). A new far-right group calling themselves “The New Founding Fathers” rise to power and devise a plan to unite the nation and solve the problem of the inner city—the purge program. The NFFA offers residents of the Island $5000 to stay in their homes during the experiment and a compensation for those participating as well. But the residents don’t all turn on each other when the laws are lifted. And some collectively mobilize to survive the night of sanctioned violence.
