This film was last shown on 24 June 2017

A powerful, sobering and masterful look at the refugee crisis through the lens of the small Italian island of Lampedusa. A young boy plays with a slingshot, a family doctor becomes inundated, a boat arrives in a storm. Breathtaking, devastating, human filmmaking.

Part of Crossings: Stories of Migration, an Institute of Contemporary Arts-led UK-wide film and events programme supported by the BFI using National Lottery funding and in partnership with the Goethe-Institut.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance for the standard suggested price of £8.80 / £ 6.60 concessions or £4.50 CINE 26 for everyone aged 26 or under.

This screening is Pay-What-You-Decide, which is available in person from the Showroom Box Office
