Frankenweenie PG
In Frankenweenie, young boy Victor is heartbroken when his beloved dog, Sparky suddenly passes away. He conducts a science experiment to bring Sparky back life but with unexpected results. Directed by Tim Burton in a feature-length remake of his 1984 short film, Frankenweenie is a sweet, family-friendly homage to classic horror story Frankenstein, and with nods to Dracula, The Mummy and Japanese monster movies.
A 3D stop motion animation, the film looks back to Burton’s earlier work on The Nightmare Before Christmas (1994) and The Corpse Bride (2006). Nostalgic, spooky and full of wonder, Frankenweenie is an endearing hand-made horror for all ages.
