George Beard and Harold Hutchins are two overly imaginative pranksters who spend hours in a treehouse creating comic books. When their mean principal threatens to separate them into different classes, the mischievous boys accidentally hypnotize him into thinking that he's a ridiculously enthusiastic, incredibly dim-witted superhero named Captain Underpants.

In light of the release of the new spin-off Dog Man movie, we return to the surprising and delightfully silly world of Captain Underpants, based on the much-loved children’s books by Dav Pilkey. This wonderful film celebrates the power of children’s imagination and twists the superhero genre on it’s head almost as much as Into the Spiderverse!

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is rated U, though it contains mild rude humour and comic threat. For fans of Dog Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Spongebob Squarepants.
