Goldfinger is the third instalment in the Bond film series, and it is one of the most memorable. It Includes the Shirley Bassey theme song that came 8th in the Billboard Hot 100 and the unmissable famous line “A Martini. Shaken, not stirred”. Directed by Guy Hamilton who insisted on making the villains more powerful, Goldfinger represents the peak of the series and subsequent Bond films followed its basic structure and comedic approach. Auric Finger (Gert Forbe) plays the evil villain with a plan to raid Fort Knox and obliterate the world economy. 007 (Sean Connery) must stop Auric Finger and save the world but an all-female team of pilots featuring Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) stands in his way.
