Hampstead 12A
One year after the death of her cheating husband, Emily (Diane Keaton) crosses paths with the loveably dishevelled and earnest Donald (Brendan Gleeson); who has lead a peaceful life in a shack on Hampstead Heath for seventeen years. The pair form and unlikely romance when Emily and Donald find themselves teaming up to go head to head against corporate property developers trying to build luxury apartments in the place of his shack, bringing chaos into Donald’s reclusive existence.
Inspired by a true story, Hampstead is a life-affirming and vibrant film about the things that can happen when we fight for what we believe in, and the small, surprising joys of unexpected love.
