This marvellously dark tale is based on the seemingly fantastical, but true-life story of Tonya Harding. Tonya built herself a legacy and claimed her spot in American sports history as one of the worlds best figure skaters. Unfortunately, her fame was marred by a sensational scandal thanks to Tonya’s affiliation with the infamous, ill-conceived attack on Olympic competitor Nancy Kerrigan. A blackly-comic film that never loses sight of the tragedy at its core. Margot Robbie gives a fierce and fiery performance in the lead role, supported by Allison Janney as Tonya’s acid-tongued abusive mother.
