Coronavirus Update

Tuesday 17 March 2020

With deep regret, we have decided to close Showroom Cinema to the public as of tomorrow (Wednesday 18 March), following the Government’s latest advice surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The Showroom Café Bar will remain open on reduced operating hours and the Workstation will continue to operate as normal.

As it stands, we don’t know how long the cinema closure will remain, but are taking these measure to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers and customers. Please do keep checking our social media channels and website for the latest developments.

If you have booked tickets with us, please hang onto them as you will be able to exchange them for future events or screenings when Showroom Cinema re-opens to the public.

As an independent cinema and charity we love nothing more than to bring the best indie films and events to our Sheffield and South Yorkshire community. The next few weeks will be some of the toughest the Showroom Workstation has faced over our 25 year history and we can’t stress how much your support means to us. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unparalleled time.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Ian Wild

CEO, Showroom Workstation
