From acclaimed writer/director Todd Phillips comes Joker: Folie À Deux, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019’s Academy Award-winning Joker. The new film stars Joaquin Phoenix once again in his Oscar-winning dual role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, opposite Oscar winner Lady Gaga (A Star Is Born).

Joker: Folie À Deux finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that's always been inside him.

The film also stars Oscar nominees Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Catherine Keener (Get Out), alongside Zazie Beetz, reprising her role from Joker.

As both an award-winning film and a box office smash, Joker changed the face of the comic book movie, with a focus on character over action. With Joker: Folie À Deux, the incorporation of musical elements and the casting of pop music legend Lady Gaga is sure to make this an unmissable new entry into the genre in its own right.

Showroom Cinema has introduced new Autism Friendly relaxed screenings for 2024. On Saturday mornings, our Family Time strand offers family friendly relaxed screenings. These will now be followed by a relaxed screening every Saturday. Our screenings have no adverts or trailers and offer unallocated seating, large screen space for movement, reduced film sound volume and low lighting during the film.
