Jon the Veggie takes over as Head Chef

We bade a fond farewell last week to Head Chef Simon Ayres, who has left for pastures new. We wish him all the best and thank him for all his hard work in bringing locally-sourced and freshly cooked dishes to our customers. 

We’re pleased to announce that Jon Tite, previously our Sous Chef, has taken over as Head Chef on a temporary basis. An expert on veggies, Jon won a special recognition award at last year's Eat Sheffield Awards for our gourmet vegetarian nights and has twice been a finalist in the Vegetarian Society’s Cordon Vert ‘Chef of the Future’ competition.

Jon says: “I’m thrilled to take on the mantle of Head Chef here. I love working with our local suppliers and dreaming up great new dishes for the Showroom.

“I wish Simon all the best in his next culinary adventures too, it was fantastic working with him.”
