Ken Loach at The Showroom

Posted 19 June 2014

Last night we were very lucky to be joined by British Film-making legend Ken Loach for a q&a with his new film Jimmy's Hall. Loach's films are always popular here in Sheffield so we were very pleased to have a full house for the event and a great audience. Questions around politics, religion, activism, eroticism and lots more arose and Loach was a fantastic guest blending the art of film making information with wider political and historical context. I left feeling inspired and determined to do more to make a change in society, and I'm sure that I wasn't the only one. So let's follow Ken's advice and make spaces for free thought, organise ourselves, resist and take action!
