Kills on Wheels 15
Zoli and Barba are young friends who met in a rehabilitation facility for people with physical disabilities. Both boys are frustrated with their lives at the facility, and together they escape into the fantasy worlds they create through their shared passion for comics. After a chance encounter with Rupaszov - a former fireman just released from prison - Zoli and Barba are given the opportunity to go on an adventure just like the ones they dream up in their comics.
The only thing is… Rupaszov is a hitman… and the adventure is murder.
Zoli and Barba soon find themselves involved in the murky underbelly of the Hungarian mafia as hired assassins.
Director, Attila Till, was inspired to write the story for actors with lived experience after volunteering with people with disabilities. He explained that “it was crucial to me to make a movie about disabled people where they finally aren’t played by actors, but they get the opportunity to act themselves and be the real heroes.”
A must-see for fans of Tarantino, Kills on Wheels is a remarkably original action-packed thriller.
