Haunted by his past in the military, Will and his
13-year-old daughter Tom live a life off grid in the wilderness of Oregon.
Their existence is shaped by military-style drills and undercover trips to the
city, where Will picks up his medication, only to sell it off to buy food. When
Tom is spotted by a hiker, she and her father are forced to confront a society they
had sought hard to avoid. While Will is desperate to return to life in the
wilderness, Tom is unsure, finding her own space in a world she had previously
only shared with her father.
Leave No Trace
will do anything but; Debra Granik has crafted a stunning character study that
will absolutely make its mark.
