The latest comedic brain-child of Julian Barratt and long-time collaborator Simon Farnaby that will not let fans down; a farcical take on washed-up celebrity and 80’s crime drama (think Bergerac & MacGyver). Juilian Barrat stars as an aging actor long past his prime, nostalgic for his 80’s hey-days as Isle of Man TV detective Mindhorn – a character whose robotic eye allowed him to ‘literally see the truth’. Decades later, the actor is brought out of his involuntary retirement when a real-life serial killer surfaces, demanding Mindhorn work the case.
