come in and get impartial design advice.” Kristian, founder of Moors Creative.
Founder of Moors Creative Kristian found his old job to be
lacking in creative output and he began working freelance, creating branding,
print and web design. Since then, Kristian has worked with a range of high
profile clients including Microsoft.
Choosing the Workstation
When Moors Creative first moved into the Workstation,
Kristian rented a desk at Red HQ before moving into his own studio. However,
the idea of basing his business here first came to Kristian when he was at
university as his student exhibition was hosted here. Kristian said:
“When I had my exhibition here, it was a new place and all of the top design
companies were based here. It had a real creative community feel and I knew
this would be a great place to work. The Workstation has always been a hub for
Alongside working with high profile clients, Moors Creative
is award winning. They won a Fresh Award for Advertising Breakthrough thanks to
their innovative “Haircut Alphabet” campaign. The project was a particular
highlight for Kristian as there was practically no budget from the client but
the reward was priceless.
For 2015, Moors Creative has some exciting new clients.
Fellow Workstation tenant Cinema for All has approached Kristian to make their
website which will be launching soon. Moors Creative will also be working with
Derwent Valley Mills on a website. Also, in a well-timed exclusive, Moors
Creative has been approached by a member of staff at the Guardian to work on a
brand new, current branding project.
