Laura (Rashida Jones) and Dean (Marlon Wayans) live a seemingly picture-perfect life in Manhattan, until she begins to suspect that he’s cheating on her. As her worries grow, Laura turns to her ageing, larger-than-life, playboy father Felix (Bill Murray) to help her get to the bottom of her husband’s behaviour.
This new drama reunites director Sophia Coppola with Bill Murray, 17 years after Lost in Translation. Murray is spectacular as the womanising, irresponsible father, and Jones shines in a role that perfectly contrasts his; a modern woman grappling with her sense of self, as an artist, wife and mother.
