This event last happened on 19 October 2017

Representing real people on stage is a responsibility, but so is representing real places. What does it take to capture the character of a city, especially one so familiar and beloved by a local audience? Chris Bush (The Sheffield Mysteries, A Dream, What We Wished For) talks about her experiences writing for the Sheffield People’s Theatre at the Crucible and the importance of place and community in new theatre writing.
