Lyn and Iona – an inseparable mother-daughter pair - move to
a sleepy East Midlands town, determined to make a success of things after a
tricky start. As the pair step into new social circles (and inevitably, away
from each other), they find that the world is not the fairy-tale they have
created for themselves.
A story that’s both heartbreaking and hopeful in it’s
exploration of bulling and mental illness – lifted by colourful, whimsical
storytelling from debut British director Deborah Haywood.
On Sunday the 15th there will be a Q&A with Director Deborah Haywood and Joanna Scanlan
