Written and directed by Reggie Yates in his feature film debut, Pirates stars relative newcomers as three best mates, Cappo, Two Tonne and Kidda, three best friends trying to break into the UK garage music scene through Pirate radio. Following the boys as they drive from North to South London on New Years Eve 1999, the film takes us on a nostalgic journey back to the turn of the millennium. Charting the misadventures of three friends as they step into adulthood, knowing that their lives and friendships are on the brink of change, Pirates is a hilarious tale of mishaps and mayhem.
