Statement from the Young Programmers:

We chose these two films in order to showcase different aspects of video games and the culture surrounding them; firstly we chose Scott Pilgrim due to its heavy influence from different video games which affect all areas of the film including its story, characters, structure and visuals which all come together to make a fun, unique and captivating portrayal of video games in live action.
